Is it really that easy to forget about someone?
All the memories you shared drift away into thin air.
All the stories you share, all the good times...forgotten.
Without them you wouldn't be where you are today.
Does that mean nothing to you anymore?
To forget someone, to forget your old friend is to forget your past.
The day you refuse to say "hey" is when your friendship is torn,
unfixable.
You hurt them in ways that words couldn't explain,
you keep telling yourself that you've turned a new leaf; but to do so doesn't mean to burn the old tree and start from scratch.
You can see their world burn in front of your eyes...if you dare to look.
